Traveloxx Refund & Cancellation Policy
Traveloxx operates solely as a third-party booking agent. All cancellations, changes, refunds, and rebookings are governed exclusively by the policies, rules, and conditions of the respective airline, hotel, or service provider.
Flight Cancellations
Many airline tickets—particularly discounted or promotional fares—are non-refundable. Cancellation of such tickets may result in the complete forfeiture of the ticket value. Certain airlines may, at their sole discretion, offer a future travel credit in place of a cash refund, subject to applicable fare rules and conditions.
Schedule Changes, Delays & Airline-Initiated Cancellations
In the event of airline-initiated delays, schedule changes, or cancellations:
Any refunds, credits, or rebooking options are governed by the airline’s policies and applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
For significant schedule changes or cancellations, passengers may be eligible for a refund, as determined solely by the airline.
Traveloxx’s role is strictly limited to facilitating communication and assistance between the customer and the service provider.
No-Show & Missed Flights
Failure to report for a scheduled flight (“no-show”) may result in the forfeiture of the entire ticket value, in accordance with airline rules. Traveloxx is not responsible for losses arising from missed flights, late arrival at the airport, or incorrect passenger information provided at the time of booking.
Limitation of Liability
As a booking agent, Traveloxx shall not be liable for:
Airline operational decisions or service disruptions
Changes to airline schedules, aircraft, routes, or policies
Delays, denials, or refusals of refunds by airlines or suppliers
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Hotel Cancellations
Hotel cancellation policies vary by property and room type. Some accommodations permit free cancellation up to a specified deadline, while others are partially refundable or non-refundable. Customers are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable cancellation terms prior to booking.
24-Hour Cancellation Rule
Certain airlines permit a full refund if a reservation is canceled within twenty-four (24) hours of ticket issuance, subject to airline fare rules and applicable regulations.
Vacation Packages
Vacation packages may be subject to specific cancellation and refund conditions. Refunds, where permitted, may be issued as vouchers or future travel credits rather than cash, depending on the supplier’s policy.
Extenuating Circumstances
Refunds or fee waivers for non-refundable bookings may be considered by airlines or service providers in limited circumstances, including jury duty, military orders, or serious illness or death. Supporting documentation is required, and approval is granted solely at the discretion of the service provider.
Refund Processing Time
Refund processing timelines are governed by applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and the policies of the respective airline or service provider.
For credit card payments, approved refunds are typically processed within seven (7) business days following confirmation from the airline.
For payments made using other methods, refunds may take up to twenty (20) business days or longer, depending on the airline, bank, or payment processor.
Traveloxx shall not be held liable for delays in refund processing caused by airlines, financial institutions, or third-party payment processors.
